Export
Take the record with you.
No app should hold your history hostage, including this one. Export lives on the device. We never see the file.
Encrypted export
In Extras, choose export and set a password. The app writes a file you can keep, mail to yourself, or copy to another device.
You need the password you just chose to import it again, and iWoman cannot recover it for you. A password encrypts your backup, so only someone who knows it can read your data.
Unencrypted export
You can also save an unencrypted file. It contains your full cycle, symptom and personal health history, so only share it with people you trust.
PDF and CSV for a clinician
A cycle report covers a range you choose and is saved as an unencrypted file. Hand it over in person if that is what was asked for. It is not a substitute for the encrypted full-history export.
Restore on a new phone
Install iWoman, open Extras, choose import, and pick the file. For an encrypted export you will be asked for the password. There is no account to log into first, and no cloud folder of ours to fetch from.
iCloud device backup
If iCloud Backup is enabled in iOS, the iWoman database is included in your device backup, under Apple's terms. We cannot read that backup. Turning iCloud Backup off is a setting on the phone, not in the app. An encrypted export you keep yourself is the copy that does not depend on Apple.
If you lose the phone and have no export
We cannot restore the record. That is the cost of never holding it. Make an encrypted export when the history starts to matter, and put the file somewhere you control.
iWoman's predictions are estimates. They are not medical advice and not a method of contraception.
