There is no ticket system and no chatbot. The address below is the one every installed copy of the app already uses.
Say which version you are on — it is at the bottom of Extras — and what you expected to happen. If something is broken, that is usually enough.
The same questions, without waiting for a reply, are below. The in-app FAQ button opens /help, which is this list.
The circle
The circle is an overview of the cycle you are in and the ones the app is predicting. Drag the mark around the ring to walk forward or back.
- How do I jump back to today?
- Tap Today at the top of the circle. The mark returns to the current day. If you have walked into the past or the future, Today also shows +N or −N days so you can see how far you have moved.
- What does the number in the middle mean?
- It is the cycle day — day 1 is the first day of the period. People who time medication or appointments to a cycle day asked for this; it is not a score.
- The estimates look wrong.
- Predictions improve as you add completed cycles. Check the Cycles tab and make sure the start and end dates are the ones you meant. Three to five logged cycles is usually enough for the average to settle. A single very long or very short cycle is down-weighted.
- The fertile marks disappeared.
- Fertile days can be turned off in Extras. If the toggle is on and the marks are still missing, the life-stage mode may be set to pregnancy or postpartum, which stops drawing a fertile window.
The calendar
The calendar is where most of the record is written: flow, temperature, notes, and the optional categories.
- What are the small icons on a day?
- Each icon is a category you logged that day — a note, intercourse, a temperature, a test, and so on. They appear only for categories you have switched on.
- There is no period in this month.
- The calendar draws periods from the Cycles list. If that list is empty, add a cycle with its first and last flow day. The month view will then show it.
- What does the heart mean? What about the heart in a shield?
- The heart marks intercourse. The heart inside a shield marks that it was protected. Both are optional, both stay on the device, and both can be hidden by switching the category off.
- How do I add or remove a note?
- Open the day, tap Notes, write, and save. To remove a note, open it, delete the text, and save. Emoji are fine; some people use a single emoji as a private shorthand for something the app does not have a category for.
- What is the dotted line on the temperature graph?
- A gap. Those days have no basal temperature entered. The graph does not invent a value to keep the line pretty.
Cycles
The Cycles tab is the list of periods you have logged. Tapping a row opens that cycle so you can edit it.
- How do I add a cycle?
- Tap Add cycle. The two dates are the first and last day of flow, not the whole cycle. Cycle length is computed from one start date to the next.
- What are the three dots?
- Flow intensity, optional. They do not change the prediction. They are there so the next cycle has something to compare against if you care about that.
- How do I delete a cycle?
- Open the cycle and scroll to Delete, or swipe the row on the list. Deleting a cycle is permanent on that device. If you have an encrypted export, you can restore from that.
Extras
Extras holds units, the lock, language, life-stage, category switches, and export.
- How do I change the temperature unit?
- Extras → the temperature row. Switch between °C and °F. Existing readings are converted for display; the stored value is unchanged.
- What does the lock do?
- It asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode when you open iWoman. There is no separate app PIN. If the device has neither biometrics nor a passcode, the lock will not enable.
- What do the category switches do?
- Each switch shows or hides that category in the day view. Turning one off does not delete what you already logged; it just stops asking.
- What is life-stage mode?
- Cycling, pregnant, postpartum, or perimenopause. It changes what the circle emphasises and whether a fertile window is drawn. It is a setting, not a diagnosis.
- How do I take my data with me?
- Extras → export. You can encrypt the file with a password iWoman cannot recover. The steps are on the export page.
iWoman's predictions are estimates. They are not medical advice and not a method of contraception.
