Changelog

17 years of small, careful updates.

iWoman launched in 2008 and has been maintained by the same small team ever since. No acquisition, no pivot, no investor-driven redesign of what your data is for. Here’s what actually changed, and when.

  1. 2008

    v1.0

    10 October 2008

    The circle

iWoman ships. The circular cycle view — now copied across the category — appears here first.

  2. 2012

    v2.0.8

    6 July 2012

    Your data, in a file

2.0.8 adds full import and export of your history to a text file. Thirteen years before anyone called it a privacy feature, you could already walk away with everything.

  3. 2015

    v3.0

    13 November 2015

    A new iWoman

3.0 rebuilds the app from scratch: new interface, faster daily entry, the redrawn circle.

  4. 2015–2016

    v3.0.1–3.4

    Speaking your language

3.0.1 adds Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, Finnish and Swedish. 3.1.2 adds Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Turkish, Indonesian, Norwegian, Brazilian Portuguese, Slovenian and Croatian, plus a manual language chooser. 3.2 adds Dutch and Hungarian, 3.2.1 Arabic and Polish, 3.3.1 Danish, 3.4 Vietnamese.

Twenty-eight languages, added one release at a time because people asked.

  5. 2016

    v3.0.2

    2 January 2016

    Temperature, charted

3.0.2 introduces the basal temperature graph and lets you switch the fertile-day overlay on or off.

  6. 2016

    v3.1–3.4

    18 July 2016

    Track only what you want

3.1 adds pill, mood, spotting, hygiene, energy, and pregnancy and ovulation test logging — and makes every single one of them optional. Touch ID arrives in the same release. 3.2 adds weight, 3.3 desire and pain, 3.4 cervical fluid.

The principle behind all of it: the app should get smaller for people who want less, not louder.

  7. 2017

    v3.3

    11 January 2017

    Days off, fixed

3.3 resolves a timezone bug that showed some users the wrong day. Reported by email, fixed and credited to the people who wrote in.

  8. 2019

    v3.7.0

    19 October 2019

    iOS 13

3.7.0 restores the app after iOS 13 broke it. We were too slow, and people told us so.

  9. 2026

    v3.8

    13 August 2026

    Back

3.8 brings iWoman up to date with current iOS.
