Leaving Clue.
Steps below are Clue’s own, copied from the articles linked here. If a menu has moved, use their article.
Last checked 23 September 2026. Clue’s delete-account article is dated 6 February 2026 and says Clue is made in Berlin.
Get a copy
How do I get a copy of my Clue data? says: More menu (the = at the top right of Cycle View), Settings, Download my data, Request data. The app shows a password. Copy it. An email arrives with a download link that expires after 72 hours. The file is a password-protected zip, and the data inside is JSON, including tracked data and app settings. Clue’s data-management article describes this download as the copy they offer under GDPR Article 20.
iWoman’s importer reads a CSV, not this JSON. Switch to iWoman will not load the file Clue emails today. Keep the JSON. It is your copy, not an import.
Delete the account
How can I delete my Clue account? says: More menu, Support, Account Questions, “How do I delete my account?”, enter the password, Delete account. A Clue Plus subscription has to be cancelled first. Deletion is permanent, including tracked data. An account created with Apple, Google or Facebook may have no password; their follow-up article says to use “I forgot my password” on that same screen before deleting.
iWoman does not delete anything at Clue.
